[QUESTION] Can't dry hands

Hi, I often notice staff receiving the 'couldn't dry hands' modifier when in bathrooms like the one pictured below that contain a hand soap and paper towel dispenser. I try not to use the air blowing hand driers as those are banned from hospitals where I am due to being generally unhygienic.



Are the dispensers (highlighted in red) also supposed to dry hands? I assumed they are as they contain paper towels.

Hi, the disinfectant dispensers currently have the same tags and purpose as sinks - but given what the graphics look like it would make sense if they could be used/tagged also as the hand dryer. There's one small concern though as this could affect existing hospitals and the prefab rooms (the objects could get reserved for cleaning hands, so there should be always some extra ones for drying hands), we'd need to double check that.

Btw, a new paper towel dispenser might be a good candidate for a mod

I think I have the answer to your problem (I've had the same actually ^^).

If your staff (or even patients) are saying they cannot dry/wash their hands, it's simple : you Don't have enough sink or disinfectant dispenser at disposal regarding the number of toilets available in the same place. You must have the same number of both in a same bathroom, especially if it's a crowded one during the day.

If you have a bathroom with 2 toilets and 1 sink, but this bathroom is not used so many time and never by multiple people at the same time --> no problem technically.
If you have the same bathroom, but used all day long by many people and by two at a time, you'll Always have one who'll say "can't dry/wash my hands"

I Don't think it's a bug, it's just…. the second person won't want to wait for Something available, so he will complain about it ^^

Are you sure that they are going to these toilets?
I have this problem as well, but in my case it is being caused by NPCs going to restrooms that are much further away than the restrooms you would expect them to go to (and these far-away restrooms did not have any dryers).
