[RESOLVED?/NEED MORE INFO] Cardiovascular surgery stated unavalable even when it is + Nurses don't bring food

Even fully staffed they show on patients that they can't do it. And the Cardio staff are unwilling to preform surgeries. I have two teams day and night and they only do the ones that go to ICU and won't do any of the standard patients. Attached is the game and output logs.

I haven't had nurses bring food ever in this game. No idea why as there is plenty of staff.

Regarding the save game file - there are 8 hospitalized patients at Cardiology department. 7 of them can not be treated by cardio surgery (because they have no symptom to be treated by it) and the other one has already underwent surgery.

From my point of view there is nothing wrong - except the fact that there is 284 pieces of personel (do not know if you have changed personel limit in .xml or this could be some magic bug). In the case you have changed this value, please, check it - it could be rewritten after last patch.

Small advice: It is better to have specified surgical teams - i mean, that you can pick 3docs (regarding their mandatory skills for surgery) and checked for them specific roles only for surgery procedures - anesthesiologist will have checked only anesthesiology role, cardio surgeon will have checked only surgery role and one doc will have checked only assist at surgery role. Do the same with nurses. What you will get? Surgery team, that will provide you only surgeries  - they will not be interrupted or delayed by any diagnostics/examinations.

Regarding the food delivery - nurses do it only if they are inoccupied at certain times during the day. many times it is unnoticable - but it is there. maybe if you reassign some nurse from the lower levels to level where are located wards you will do your hsopitalization (at Cardio dpt.) more effective

I'm actually having that same issue, I put my OR on another floor and it was working fine. Patients were getting surgeries then all a sudden Cardio Surgeon aren't doing surgery. There a team day and night and they have specific roles established for surgery I just dont understand why they wont do it. Is cause i moved OR to a different floor?

@Igor.oxymoron I changed the doctors to work surgeries like you stated and they still aren't in a rush to do surgeries they just remain idle. I think you should create a surgery schedule Like at hospitals that we as players can control when they happen and can control the priority of all surgeries like if we see some one with a more dire need for a surgery then we can advance them up the list.

@igor.oxymoron, is there any way to designate the nurse assisting the surgical nurse?  I wanted to have three types of nurse offices: transfer, care, and surgery.  I tried leaving all boxes unchecked but then it just took a nurse from the patient care nurse office to help with the surgery.

I like the idea of surgery schedule cause then we would be able to priortize surgeries by medical necessity and stabilization.

Actually there is none method to do it. Anyway we will be probably enhancing roles for personel in the future (more roles for janitors and also nurses).

Nurse that assists surgery just need patient care, because she only operates some machines at surgery theatre. We will definetely consider some specific roles.
