[RESOLVED] Doctors don't work anymore after loading game

As reported on Steam Forum:

Yesterday I saved my map and went to nap. After work today I wanted to load my save and some of my doctors don't work anymore.
Means:

I have 5 doctors in ambulance 30 patients - but they are only served by 2 out of my 5 doctors. Yesterday before the save everything was running fine.

Your waiting room is too far away from the other three doctors.  I see that you blocked off another waiting room.  Perhaps you were very tired just before your nap, and forgot that?  Anyway, when I extended the currently existing waiting room down the hallway, admittedly not a pretty sight, the other three doctors started taking patients.

Thanks for your reply! Yes I understand - or in other words: I also thought that might be the first waiting room is too far away! But what I am wondering (and this is why I post it here as a bug): The day before I went to my nap everything worked just fine and the layout was the same. So all doctors had constant patients.

You are right - I now loaded the game again and I just took away the "waiting room assignment" from the room down the hall and boom: they other doctors start again. Maybe this was the last step I did - to assign this last room as a waiting room.
Okay - but honestly - a tricky one

That's okay. Today I just noticed for the first time that janitors do not show their work shift on their list. But I had been trying to mod janitors, unsuccessfully, so I thought I had done it. I saved my other edited xml files and reinstalled the game. Before adding back my changed files I checked and the shift was still missing. I checked old saves from before I started trying to mod janitors, and the shifts were missing there also. So I went to Steam and searched for janitors plus shifts, and found it is known that their list is missing their shifts. All that, to find out I had not done it.
