[OPEN LOW] Game Speed After Loading or Saving

Just now I put the game on speed 1, the lowest level.  I made a save, and when the game returned from saving it whizzed off in speed 3, top speed.  I have seen this before, but never bothered to mention it.  It feels like a diabolical plot but I am sure it is just some mistake in flags.  

Hi, thanks for the report! The actual game speed is saved in each game, so you should return to the same state you saved it (paused, slow or fast) - this was not loading from main menu, right?

I tried this morning and I cannot reproduce it. I will watch for it happening again. Sorry.

Okay, I think I know what is happening, and the way to avoid it is to always shift into speed 1 before saving. Pausing the game while saving does not seem to result in a loaded save that is paused. So if you were playing at speed 3, paused, saved, and later reloaded you would be a speed 3 instead of paused. And yes, inside the game. Not from the Menu.
