Non-resident on call
Sat Nov 03, 2018 10:16 pm
Hi,
Something we have in the healthcare world are staff who are "non-resident" on-call overnight. These are staff who are at home and come in if needed. Things like CT radiographers in smaller hospitals, or certain surgical teams in bigger ones, aren't always present in the hospital. If they aren't resident, they're also getting paid less than people who are resident overnight.
This could be something helpful in the game - how often do you need a CT or MRI radiographer overnight? Rarely, but occasional needs apply. Could also help balance early budgets.
