Hospital Opening Times, Room Sizes

Just started playing yesterday. Great game!

Is it possible to set the hospital opening times?

I got a small clinic and I can assign nurses and doctors to
night shift but the hospital is closed an no new patients come in.

Is there an advantage building the larger doctors offices or putting plants at places to make it look nice?

Opening times cannot be changed. In the night patients are not coming (with exception for ambulances). Plants and decoration make doctors and patients happier. I'm not sure about size of offices or rooms, but I didn't find any relation to happiness (patients or doctors).

I have found with experimentation I can build every room at minimum size with everything it needs except for labs. Those need to really be 4x6 minimum

So how can we get ambulances to come in the night? My hospital owns an ambulance but it never goes anywhere

You could theoretically change the opening times of your clinic, but only via mods. It works with one exception: Patients are only spawned between 8:00 and 18:00.
