Hospital Class Overrides

Hello!

Does anyone know if it's possible to override the Hospital class with a rewritten class of your own to load up as a mod or would that just require hacking something together in the dll? I have never touched C#, but am familiar with C++ to an extent and have some other light programming background.

I'm trying to rework how lending and interest works in the game so as to be more reasonable because I keep swimming in debt and possibly take into account prestige or just how much is being lent to determine an interest rate. I was able to hack something together by changing Assembly-CSharp.dll and overwriting the original file, but that's not necessarily ideal.
