[QUESTION]Trauma patients assigned to doctor filling needs and left untreated (NO IMAGE) Empty [QUESTION]Trauma patients assigned to doctor filling needs and left untreated (NO IMAGE)

Hello, I was wondering if it would be possible to allow for trauma patients to only be assigned to available doctors? I watched as an ambulance delivered a patient, I took control of the patient and assigned some treatments. The patient merely waited on the trauma table while the doctor filled their needs. Now, if this can't be done perhaps something to streamline doctor-patient transfer? By this I mean: i can transfer the patient to an idle doctor, but since the doctor in the patient card isn't necessarily the one that attends to the patient it gets really confusing and difficult trying to remedy this when it happens. Very Happy

Hi and thank you for your report. New trauma patients do actually try to get free doctor and when there is no free doctor available they get another one assigned randomly. But when it comes to treatment procedures, any free doctors will tend to trauma patients, regardless of the patients assigned doctor, to make sure patients will get care as fast as possible. On the other hand prescribing medication is the responsibility of their asigned doctors, so switching them should help to speed up the process.
Have you tried to divide your doctors in Emergency On call room to divide between Trauma and Observation? That helps this situation as well. Hope it helps and have a great day.

Hi, yes that is correct. Treatment procedures are often more critical, so any free doctor should take care of them.
