Simulation continuity Empty Simulation continuity

I am so reluctant to expand or modify my hospital because it halts the simulation. I understand this might be a difficult feature to implement and would no doubt introduce many edge case bugs in the short term, but most simulation games allow this and the continuity is really important to me.
